The Redeemed Christian Church of God Youth Province One has funded medical expenses for eight newborns at the Mother and Child Centre, Amuwo-Odofin General Hospital as part of a community outreach programme in Lagos.

The intervention formed part of activities commemorating the birthday of the church’s General Overseer, Enoch Adejare Adeboye. Organisers said the initiative also included the donation of essential medical supplies to support maternal and child healthcare services for about a month.

The outreach was led by provincial leaders, including Leke Adeboye, alongside other officials responsible for administration and corporate social responsibility within the province.

According to the organisers, the programme was expanded through collaboration with members of RCCG Graceville, enabling support to be extended to several Mother and Child Centre facilities across Lagos.

Speaking during the event, Leke Adeboye said the initiative was influenced by the teachings of the church’s leadership, emphasising support for vulnerable groups.

The church stated that the outreach reflects its broader commitment to humanitarian efforts and community development, noting that similar interventions would continue in the future.
