An entrepreneur, Adekoya Ibukunoluwa, has filed a lawsuit against Sandra Edoho, the estranged wife of broadcaster Frank Edoho, seeking ₦100 million in damages over alleged defamatory Instagram posts linking her to an affair with the media personality.
The legal action, contained in a memorandum of claim dated July 17, 2026, accuses Sandra of libel, fraudulent misrepresentation and breach of privacy.
According to the claimant, the dispute originated after she allegedly met Frank Edoho in October 2023 at Hard Rock Café in Lekki, Lagos, where they discussed their shared interest in Arsenal Football Club before exchanging contact details.
The suit further alleges that Sandra later impersonated her husband on WhatsApp and invited the claimant to the Edoho residence in Victoria Garden City, Lagos.
The claimant alleges she was subsequently taken to the residence and confined in a room before Frank Edoho, who was reportedly unaware of the situation, apologised after learning of the incident.
The lawsuit also claims that following the couple’s marital crisis in May 2026, Sandra published photographs, videos and private WhatsApp conversations on Instagram portraying the claimant as one of several women allegedly involved with her husband.
According to the filing, the publications damaged the claimant’s reputation and subjected her to online harassment and public ridicule.
She is asking the court to declare the publications defamatory, order their removal, compel Sandra Edoho to issue a public apology and award ₦100 million in damages.
The claimant also seeks an injunction restraining further publications of a similar nature.
The legal team has proposed an out-of-court settlement, giving Sandra Edoho seven days to respond before further legal proceedings.
The allegations remain before the court, and no judicial determination has been made.
