Grammy-winning South African singer Tyla has announced her A*POP World Tour, with Lagos confirmed as one of the stops on the global concert series.
The singer unveiled the tour schedule on Monday via her Instagram page, revealing that she will perform in Lagos on December 22 as part of the tour supporting her sophomore album, APOP*.
The tour begins in Paris, France, on October 12 before moving through Europe and North America with performances in cities including London, Berlin, Stockholm, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Lagos is one of only three African stops on the tour. After the Nigerian show, Tyla will perform in Cape Town on January 4 before concluding the tour in Johannesburg on January 9.
The announcement comes shortly after the release of APOP*, Tyla’s second studio album, which includes tracks such as “Chanel,” “Is It,” “Is It Love” and “She Did It Again.”
Tyla rose to global prominence with her 2023 hit “Water,” which earned her the Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance and established her as one of Africa’s leading international music stars.
The Lagos venue and ticket details are expected to be announced at a later date.
