American rapper Cardi B and Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye became one of the biggest talking points at Paris Fashion Week after making a joint appearance at two high-profile fashion events, setting social media abuzz with speculation and admiration.

Videos circulating across TikTok, X and Instagram showed Okoye escorting Cardi B to her seat at the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture Show before both sat together to watch the runway presentation. The pair were also seen attending the Messika presentation, further amplifying online conversations.

The viral clips attracted thousands of reactions, with many users praising their fashion choices and relaxed interaction. Cardi B’s striking all-red ensemble quickly emerged as one of the standout celebrity looks from the Haute Couture showcase, while Okoye’s elegant appearance also drew compliments from football and fashion enthusiasts alike.

The public outing also fuelled speculation about a possible relationship between the two celebrities. However, neither Cardi B nor Okoye has addressed the rumours publicly, and there is no verified evidence suggesting they are romantically involved.

For Okoye, the moment represents another step in his growing profile beyond football. Although best known for his performances between the posts for Nigeria and Italian Serie A side Udinese, the goalkeeper has increasingly attracted attention for his fashion interests and public appearances.

Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, to a Nigerian father and a mother of German and French heritage, the 26-year-old made his senior debut for Nigeria in 2019 after progressing through Germany’s youth football system. Standing at 1.98 metres, he first gained international recognition during his spell with Sparta Rotterdam, where he won the club’s Player of the Season award for the 2020/21 campaign.

His impressive performances earned him a move to Watford in 2022 before joining Udinese a year later. Since arriving in Italy, Okoye has established himself as one of Nigeria’s most recognisable goalkeepers while balancing football with an expanding presence in fashion and lifestyle circles.

Paris Fashion Week has increasingly become a meeting point for global entertainers, athletes and luxury brands, with celebrities often sharing the front row during major runway presentations. Such appearances frequently generate significant online engagement, particularly when personalities from different industries are seen together.

As videos from Wednesday’s event continue to circulate across social media platforms, fans remain focused on the stylish appearance of Cardi B and Okoye. For now, any suggestion of a relationship remains purely speculative, with neither camp offering any comment beyond their appearance at one of fashion’s biggest annual showcases.
