Businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose says he is disappointed that former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has never acknowledged his support during the 2023 general election.
Fayose made the remarks in a video released on Friday while responding to criticism following his recent meeting with Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu.
According to him, he made personal sacrifices to support Obi’s presidential ambition, including spending his own money, providing his hotel for campaign activities and participating in protests.

He questioned why Obi had never reached out to appreciate him despite those efforts.
Fayose also criticised some supporters of the Obidient Movement, accusing them of relying on others to drive political change instead of taking responsibility themselves.
While reaffirming that he is Yoruba and admires President Tinubu and his son, Fayose said that does not prevent him from supporting politicians from other parties.
He added that he could decide to campaign for Tinubu in future elections if he wished.
The comments come days after Fayose dismissed speculation that he had defected to the All Progressives Congress following a viral video showing him singing alongside Seyi Tinubu.
In an earlier Instagram video, he insisted he remained “101 per cent Obidient” despite his cordial relationship with the Tinubu family.
He also denied claims that he received money to switch political allegiance, saying politics should be conducted without hatred or hostility.
Peter Obi has not publicly responded to the remarks.
