Spanish champions Barcelona have completed the signing of highly rated Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge in a deal reportedly worth €8.5 million ($10 million).
The La Liga champions confirmed on Friday that the 18-year-old has signed a six-year contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2031.
“FC Barcelona and Club Brugge have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jesse Bisiwu, who signs up to be a blaugrana until 30 June 2031,” the club said in a statement.

Bisiwu joins Barcelona after impressing for Belgium’s youth national teams and emerging as one of the country’s brightest young talents.
The winger came into the spotlight during the 2025 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where he was named in the Team of the Tournament after helping Belgium reach the semi-finals.
He started his youth career at OH Leuven before joining Club Brugge’s academy in 2020.
Across the last two seasons, he made 14 UEFA Youth League appearances and scored three goals while also gaining senior experience with Club NXT, Club Brugge’s reserve team.
Bisiwu made his Belgian Second Division debut at just 15 years old in 2023 and went on to feature 36 times before sealing his move to Spain.
Although he did not play for Club Brugge’s senior team, Barcelona regard him as one of Europe’s most promising young wingers.
He is expected to begin with Barcelona Atlètic before challenging for a place in the first team.
Bisiwu also becomes only the third Belgian footballer to represent Barcelona after Thomas Vermaelen and Fernand Goyvaerts.
