The Nigerian Air Force has invited candidates who passed its 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test to appear for the Selection Board Interview for enlistment into the Basic Military Training Course 46/2025, with the exercise scheduled to hold in Kaduna from April 27 to June 13, 2026.

The development was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.

According to the statement, the names of successful candidates have been published on the official NAF recruitment portal, while the interview exercise will take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna.

“The Nigerian Air Force hereby notifies the general public that candidates who were successful in the Zonal General Aptitude Test conducted across 15 NAF Bases on 5 December 2025 are invited to attend the Selection Board Interview for Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women into BMTC 46/2025,” the statement read.

The Air Force directed all shortlisted applicants to report strictly in line with the batch schedule assigned to them on the recruitment portal, warning that any candidate who fails to appear on the designated date will be disqualified from the exercise.

“All shortlisted candidates are required to report strictly in accordance with their assigned batch schedule.

“Candidates who fail to report on their designated dates will forfeit the opportunity to participate in the Selection Board Interview.”

The NAF also reiterated that the recruitment process remains entirely free, warning candidates against paying money to any individual or group under any guise.

“The Nigerian Air Force wishes to emphasise that the entire recruitment process is completely free of charge, and candidates are strongly advised not to make any payment at any stage of the exercise.”

The latest development follows the nationwide Zonal General Aptitude Test conducted in December 2025 across 15 designated centres, which drew more than 20,000 applicants from across the country.

The test was held in Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt, and Ikeja as part of the service’s nationwide merit-based recruitment exercise.

At the time, Ejodame said the process was designed to ensure transparency, inclusiveness, and equal opportunity for all eligible Nigerians.

“The Nigerian Air Force remains firmly committed to recruiting the best candidates by merit, as the quality of our personnel is fundamental to operational effectiveness and the successful execution of our constitutional mandate,” he said.
