The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced that its 2026/2027 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise will hold from Thursday, August 13, to Saturday, August 15, 2026, while registration for eligible candidates will close on Sunday, August 9.
The university disclosed the schedule in a statement issued on Friday by its Director of Corporate Affairs, Kunle Akogun, urging prospective students to complete all admission requirements before the deadline.
According to the statement, the institution’s Admissions Officer, AbdulKareem Kunle Sanni, advised candidates who have successfully completed their screening registration to begin printing their examination slips from Monday, August 10, 2026.
The university stressed that the registration portal for both UTME and Direct Entry applicants would officially close on Sunday, August 9, warning candidates against waiting until the last minute to complete the process.
Applicants were also encouraged to print their examination slips immediately after they become available to confirm their assigned examination dates, venues and time schedules.
The management confirmed that the computer-based Post-UTME screening exercise would be conducted over three days, from August 13 to August 15, as part of the admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session.

UNILORIN remains one of Nigeria’s most competitive federal universities, with thousands of candidates applying for admission each year.
The announcement follows the conclusion of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted nationwide by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board between April 16 and April 25, 2026.
