As excitement builds ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Carding App has announced a ₦400 million prediction competition aimed at giving football fans across Nigeria and beyond the opportunity to earn rewards throughout the tournament.

The company said participants will be able to predict World Cup matches on its platform and accumulate football coins that will determine their share of the ₦400 million prize pool when the competition ends.

The initiative comes as global interest in the expanded FIFA World Cup continues to grow. The 2026 tournament, scheduled to be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, will be the largest in the competition’s history, featuring 48 national teams and 104 matches.

According to Carding App, users can earn football coins through multiple activities on the platform, including making accurate match predictions, inviting friends, selling gift cards and competing on special tournament leaderboards.

The company explained that correct match predictions will attract additional football coins, improving a participant’s chances of securing a larger share of the prize pool.

Users can also increase their coin balance through referrals when invited friends complete the required registration and participation processes.

Beyond predictions and referrals, participants who sell gift cards through the platform during the competition period will also earn football coins.

Carding App disclosed that dedicated leaderboards will run throughout the tournament, including rankings for the group stage, knockout rounds and overall tournament performance, giving top-performing users additional opportunities to earn rewards.

“The more football coins accumulated during the World Cup, the greater the participant’s potential reward from the ₦400 million prize pool,” the company said.

To participate, users are required to download the Carding App, create an account and enter the promo code “WORLDCUP2026” during registration before accessing the prediction section.

The launch reflects a growing trend of fan-engagement platforms using prediction games and reward systems to keep supporters actively involved throughout major sporting events.

Industry observers note that prediction-based competitions have become increasingly popular around global football tournaments because they allow supporters to test their football knowledge while competing for prizes and leaderboard positions.

With millions of football fans expected to follow the World Cup across different digital platforms, Carding App believes the initiative will create an engaging experience that combines football entertainment with reward opportunities.

As anticipation for the tournament continues to rise, participants are already being encouraged to begin preparing their predictions and building their football coin balances ahead of kick-off.
