Big Brother Naija has returned for its 11th season, introducing a new group of housemates hoping to become the next winner of Africa’s biggest reality television show.
The latest edition premiered on Sunday, with contestants beginning their journey for the coveted grand prize and the opportunity to join an elite list of former champions.
Since the franchise debuted as Big Brother Nigeria in 2006, it has produced winners who have gone on to build careers in entertainment, business, media and entrepreneurship.

1. Katung Aduwak — Season 1 (2006)
The first-ever winner of Big Brother Nigeria, Katung Aduwak defeated Francisca Owumi in the inaugural edition.
2. Efe Ejeba — Season 2 (See Gobe, 2017)
Efe defeated Bisola Aiyeola after the show’s return in 2017. His slogan, “Based on logistics,” became a nationwide catchphrase.
3. Miracle Igbokwe — Season 3 (Double Wahala, 2018)
Commercial pilot Miracle Igbokwe won the third season, finishing ahead of Cee-C.
4. Mercy Eke — Season 4 (Pepper Dem, 2019)
Mercy Eke became the first female winner of the modern BBNaija era after defeating Mike Edwards.
5. Laycon — Season 5 (Lockdown, 2020)
Laycon dominated the Lockdown edition and secured one of the highest vote margins in the show’s history.
6. Whitemoney — Season 6 (Shine Ya Eye, 2021)
Whitemoney defeated Liquorose to emerge winner after captivating viewers with his personality and resilience.
7. Phyna — Season 7 (Level Up, 2022)
Phyna won the Level Up season ahead of Bryann.
8. Ilebaye — Season 8 (All Stars, 2023)
Ilebaye defeated former winner Mercy Eke to claim the All Stars title.
9. Kellyrae — Season 9 (No Loose Guard, 2024)
Kellyrae emerged winner after defeating Wanni Danbaki in the finale.
10. Imisi Ayanwale — Season 10 (10/10, 2025)
Imisi became the latest BBNaija winner before the start of Season 11 after defeating Precious “Dede” Ashiogwu.
